Dr. Alice J. Robinson, 50
Dr. Alice J. Robinson, 50, of Libby, 'entered eternal life' on May 22, 2007, surrounded by her family. She was born Feb. 23, 1957, in Libby to David W. and Jean Kearney Robinson. At the age of 12 the family moved to Greenville, S.C., where they lived for three years. In 1972 the family moved to Great Falls. Alice graduated from Great Falls High in 1975.
She attended the University of Puget Sound where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. Alice went to the University of Utah Medical School where she earned her master's degree. She then had four years of specialized training in anesthesiology.
In 1987 she moved back to Libby.
Alice enjoyed African drumming and dancing, yoga, gardening, water and snow skiing, swimming and, especially, being a mother.
She was preceded in death by her father, David; sister, Meg; and three brothers, David Jr., Tommy and Mark.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Cielak, of Libby; and three children, Sperry Robinson, Louis and Jonny Cielak, all of Libby; mother, Jean Robinson, of Lakeside; sister, Polly Addison, and John, of Mercer Island, Wash.; sister-in-law, Sabrina Robinson, of Spokane; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 11, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
