Flathead County Sheriff's

deputies stopped a 19-year-old man in a possible stolen car Monday. He is being held for driving with a suspended license. The rest of the case is still under investigation.

An Evergreen woman called deputies to report an attempted burglary on her home. Deputies arrived, took the report and then arrested her husband on outstanding warrants.

Reports that a 17-month-old child was abused with a curling iron turned out to be unfounded. The child, who had been taken to the emergency room, was burned in an accident, deputies said.
