Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 44-year-old male on a felony warrant for bad checks and a 44-year-old female on a warrant for probation violation on First Avenue West.

Police received two reports of a man on his hands and knees claiming he was hit by a car. After determining he had not, in fact, been hit by a car, police transported the intoxicated man to the hospital for evaluation anyway.

They are also investigating a theft at the Dairy Queen.
