Boaters make it to shore safely

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies reported a boat tipped over in the Flathead River above Lybecks Dike near the Helena Flats area. Everybody got to shore safely and the boat was recovered.

A 41-year-old Martin City man was taken to the hospital after a bad bee sting.

Deputies are holding a 46-year-old German man after he tried to cross the border at Rooseville.

They also returned a prisoner to Minnesota after he testified in a vehicular assault trial in Flathead County on Tuesday.

A grizzly bear was sighted on Sherman Lane.

A Somers woman reported to be missing was soon found.

Deputies found a woman walking down the road in Somers with injuries severe enough to pique their interest Monday. She opted not to file an assault complaint.

An inmate at the Flathead County Detention Center stole $18 in phone cards from two other inmates.
