Elmer A. Knudson, 96, passed away in Kalispell on Thursday, June 21, 2007. Elmer was born June 23, 1911, in Bowbells, N.D.

He grew up in that area and went from farming to employment as a station agent for the great Northern Railroad.

Elmer is survived by his daughters, Marlene Koenig of Vancouver, Wash., and Patricia Ormiston of Kalispell; grandsons, Jay Robert Nortome of Florence, Texas and Brian Ormiston of Seattle; and his great-granddaughter, Cassandra Nordtome of Kalispell.

In honor of his request there will be no formal service.
