Lance L. Anderson, 50
Lance L. Anderson, 50, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at Health Center Northwest and Hospice in Kalispell, after a long struggle with Huntington's disease. Lance was born on June 27, 1956, at Culbertson, the son of Vernon and Pearl (Kress) Anderson. He graduated from Great Falls High School and the University of Denver.
Lance worked as an accountant until his health failed.
He loved hunting, fishing and camping and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed football and the Denver Broncos and the Minnesota Twins baseball team. He loved church and music. He also loved long walks and was an honest family man who shared many thoughts with his many friends and always had a smile, and saying, "Happy, happy, happy."
"He loved God and lived a good life."
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Anderson, in September 1975; stepfather, James Lunde, in August 2006; and a stepbrother, Bruce Lunde, in 2001.
He is survived by his wife, Edilia Anderson, of Kalispell; son, Eric Anderson, of Polson; his mother Pearl Lunde, and brother Paul Anderson, both of Great Falls; three stepsisters, Suzanne Tynes and husband, Kelly, of Lincoln, Becky Guiness and husband, Dave, of Great Falls, and Cheryl Lunde, also of Great Falls; a stepbrother, Brian Lunde of Lincoln; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and sisters-in-law, Consuelo Prado and Liz Stella Prado, who cared for Lance in his last days; also a nephew and niece, Adrian and Raquel; and Lance's college friend, Allyn Brown, of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Mass of Christian Burial for Lance will be held at noon Saturday, June 30, at Risen Christ Catholic Church with Father Rudy Bullman as celebrant. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, June 29, at Johnson Mortuary with a rosary being said afterward at 7 p.m. at Johnson Mortuary. Burial will follow services at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
