Maureen Diana (Walsh) Knutson, 59

Maureen Diana (Walsh) Knutson, 59, died after a long battle with multiple sclerosis and lung cancer, on June 26, 2007, at the Hospice of Larimer County, in Windsor, Colo. Maureen was born to Richard Walsh and Bernice Peterson on Nov. 2, 1947, in Kalispell.

On June 6, 1966, Maureen married Frank Knutson at St. Richard's Catholic Church in Columbia Falls.

Maureen lived her life to the fullest, making an impact on all who were blessed to know her. She enjoyed traveling and made lasting friends wherever she went. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; her two children, Lisa Broeder and husband, Wade, and Shane Knutson; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Hailey, and Hunter Broeder; and her brother, Pat Walsh and wife, Trish, and their children, Richard and Courtney, of Columbia Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Richard Christopher Knutson.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Windsor. A celebration of life reception will be held after the memorial service.
