Columbia Falls police are investigating a report of boys fighting on a school bus Wednesday morning.

At the price of gas today, the person who left their car unlocked with the engine running for 2 1/2 hours in a parking lot at the high school Wednesday evening learned an expensive lesson. Police shut it down and took the keys to the station, where they were picked up Thursday.

Two thefts were reported - silver taken from a house and medications taken from a vehicle at the post office.
