Claude W. Bailor, 46

Claude W. Bailor, 46, of Kalispell died March 1, 2007, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center from natural causes. He was born in Dillon to Claude W. and Helene Fischer Bailor. He moved to Libby at an early age and had attended school here.

After high school, he went to work on the oil rigs and had worked in Montana and California. He worked on a fishing boat in Alaska before returning to Libby. He worked for Fire Tech in Libby with Don Peterson. He worked for Rocky Mountain Contractors, subsequently Continental Line Builders, installing fiber optics. He was a member of IBEW Local 768.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and everything that involved the out-of-doors.

He married Judy Palmerton on Aug. 3, 1991.

His mother, and a brother, Al, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Bailor, of Kalispell; children, Trinity Palmerton and wife, Tracey, of Kalispell, Kimberly Palmerton of Kalispell, and Nicole Bailor of Kalispell; grandchild, Trinity Palmerton Jr., of Kalispell; brothers, Mike Schmitt of Seattle, Charlie Swearingen of Las Vegas, and Pete Bailor of Billings; sisters, Kathy Bailor of Libby, Maggie Olsen of Libby, and Charlene Lauer and husband, Jaymen, of Sultan, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Nelson and Vial Funeral Home in Libby. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.
