Marjorie Mae 'Mardi' Marsh Crow, 69

Mardi passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, in an automobile accident. Mardi was born Oct. 21, 1937, to Frederick and Nellie Marsh. She was the 13th of 14 children. She graduated from Flathead High School in 1956, and Beeman's College in 1957.

She married Bill Crow in May 1957. They moved to Stratton, Colo., where she worked for the school system. They returned to Montana, where she worked for the Forest Service. She divorced in 1981 and retired from the Forest Service in 1994. She made Flathead Valley her home until her death.

Mardi had many interests, including bowling, caring for her flower gardens, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Nellie Marsh; brothers, Orville, Leroy, Jerry, Earl and James Marsh; and sisters, Ruby Shepard and Shirley Crow.

She is survived by brothers, Arnold Marsh of Somers, and William Marsh of Plains; sisters, Ruth Gray of Lynnwood, Wash., Louceal Sinclair of Kalispell, Ione Marsh of Thompson Falls and JoAnne Strawn of Phoenix.

Her siblings, and 48 nieces and nephews will miss her smiling face and caring personality.

Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at the Eagles in Kalispell, followed by a potluck dinner.

Cremation was handled by Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.
