Amy H. (Ottis) Haines, 90

Amy H. (Ottis) Haines, 90, passed away Monday, March 5, 2007, of natural causes in Great Falls.

She was born Dec. 14, 1916, in Kindred, N.D., where she was also raised.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by husband, Clifford E. Haines; a son, William T. Haines; infant sister, Amy Katherine; sisters, Millie Baer and Connie Thoreson; and parents, Louis and Bethilda Ottis.

She is survived by a son, John, and Kathy Haines of Great Falls; a stepdaughter, Margaret Engberg, of Kalispell; a daughter-in-law, Janet Haines, of Libby; a brother, Selmer, and Kay Ottis of Fargo, N.D.; grandchildren, Tatum Haines of Libby, Sara Weitzel of St. Louis, Kelsey and Justin Sheffler of Wichita, Kan., Anne and Ben Simmons of Libby, and Nicholas and Nathan Haines of Great Falls; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at Johnson Mortuary in Kalispell.
