Pair arrested in family member assault

Flathead County sheriff's deputies arrested a 39-year-old man and 35-year-old woman, both on suspicion of partner or family member assault, after a disturbance on Sunny Lane. At least one child was in the home, but reportedly not injured.

An 8-year-old boy reportedly punched another 8-year-old boy in the throat in the Canyon Elementary School area.

Two people reported a man on Shady Lane shooting from his deck up the river toward the bridge, and not for the first time. One caller said the bullets bounced off his house. Word was that he was shooting at turkeys.

Loose horses checked out the street and ditch on Two Mile Drive.

Don't skateboard on the roadway, a deputy told two boys riding down the West Valley Drive hill between Reserve Drive and Church Road.

Harassment was reported at Bigfork High School.

Doors and windows were open at the East Evergreen Drive home, so the caller clearly could hear screaming and fighting between a mother and teenage daughter.
