Flathead County sheriff's deputies, along with Evergreen Fire and Ambulance, went to Ridgewood Drive and U.S. 2, where a male was riding on the hood of a Jeep Cherokee and went flying. A high-alert response was needed to get him to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Deputies checked on a noisy group of juveniles nearby, and several ran when officers approached. They ended up arresting one for minor in possession.

A strong smell caused a headache and fears that there was a natural-gas leak on Columbia Falls Stage Road. NorthWestern Energy checked on it.
