Braves lose to Big Sky in consolation semifinals

BILLINGS - The 2006-07 Flathead High School boys basketball season ended Saturday morning with a loss to Missoula Big Sky in the consolation semifinals of the Class AA State Tournament at the MetraPark.

Justin Montelius was the only Big Sky player in double-digit scoring figures with 11 points in leading the Eagles to a 47-44 victory.

After being outscored by two, four and four points in the first three quarters, respectively, the Braves finished the game with a 17-10 fourth quarter.

The Braves finished the season with a 14-10 record.

Senior Geoff Hogan finished his prep career with a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Fellow seniors Luke Cutler and Brad Huff added seven and two points, respectively.
