BIGFORK - Paul Wallin and Matt Porrovecchio will coach the Bigfork High School tennis programs this spring.

Bigfork activities director Shannon Smith made the announcement last week.

Wallin will serve as the boys head coach while Porrovecchio will be the girls head coach.

Porrovecchio was the head coach of the Bigfork program in 2006. He resigned his duties after the season, but returned when he learned Wallin was coming back.

"Paul is probably the best tennis coach in Montana," Porrovecchio said.

"The opportunity to coach with him was too good to pass up."

Porrovecchio played high school tennis for Wallin, placing second at state in double play.

Tonya Potts will be an assistant coach. She's also a former BHS player.
