Whitefish police tracked down a 29-year-old Whitefish man and arrested him on suspicion of partner or family member assault after an alleged attack on his ex-girlfriend on Birch Point Drive.

A 15-year-old girl had neither driver's license nor car, so she took her parents' rig. Bad idea. She now has a charge against her of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Careless driving, DUI and having no proof of liability insurance were the charges levied against a 46-year-old Whitefish man after police stopped him at Spokane and Fourth.
