Flathead County sheriff's deputies checked more than a dozen places in the greater Evergreen area for a woman reported missing from Edgewood Vista shortly before 11:30 p.m. Sunday. Even the dog-search team was put into action. The Alzheimer's patient reportedly had been missing for a while at the locked facility. But, a little more than 90 minutes after the initial call, she was found - in her roommate's room next to the bed across the hall.

A missing-child search on Rogers Lake Road had a happy ending Sunday when the 2-year-old boy was located safe and sound.

"Squatting questions" was the topic of discussion between a deputy and a caller, who said a temporary resident was not following rules laid out in an agreement.

An Evergreen store was "burnt" the other day - it reportedly was boarded up but someone broke in and stole chain saws. Now, the caller said, a youth is going around trying to sell new chain saws.

A boy was taken Monday afternoon from Kalispell Junior High to the Juvenile Detention Center.

A brush fire and a controlled burn got the attention of deputies Sunday and Monday.

A solar light set was stolen and eggs were left in the yard at a Logan way home. The only thing reported missing from a home on Conrad Drive was a Kirby vacuum.

Loose horse, vicious dogs and loud music were problems.
