Bonnie J. Thomson, 91

Bonnie J. Thomson, 91, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2007, in Kalispell. At the time of her death, she was a resident of Heritage Place. She was born on Dec. 2, 1915, in Bynum to E.B. Noble and Mabel (Malone) Noble.

Bonnie was raised in the Choteau area, where her father was in the lumber business. After graduating from Choteau High School, she continued her education at Western Montana College and later graduated from Eastern Montana College.

Bonnie's teaching career took her to rural Valley County, Sweet Grass, Harlowton, Shawmut, Lewistown, Judith Gap and Kalispell.

On March 17, 1940, Bonnie married F. M. "Tic" Thomson in Harlowton. They raised their four children in Harlowton, Don, Bob, Jean and Jack.

Bonnie was active in the Methodist church, Eastern Star, Delta Kappa Gamma and Retired Teachers of Flathead County.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Sampson; husband, "Tic," and daughter, Jean.

Surviving Bonnie are sons, Don Thomson and Jude of Bigfork, Bob Thomson and Jan of Great Falls, and Jack Thomson and Muffie of Lakeside; her brother, Robert Noble of Naples, Fla.; sister, Margaret Walker of Great Falls. Also surviving are grandchildren, Brach, Gavin, Kerry, Elli and Andrew; and five great-grandchildren, Kyle, Jenica, Paige, Tristan and Brooke. Other survivors include numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, at Epworth United Methodist Church in Kalispell. Cremation has taken place and burial will be in Wheatland Memorial Cemetery in Harlowton at a later date.
