James C. Quick, 78

James C. Quick, 78, of Columbia Falls died on Saturday, March 17, 2007, at his home in Columbia Falls. He was born on Nov. 7, 1928, in Minneapolis to Albert and Pearl Quick.

James served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and Korea.

He was a very charitable man that was always willing to help anyone he could. He loved building boats and his John Deere tractor was his favorite toy.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Connie; children, Dean Quick and wife, Jenny, James Quick and wife, Vicky, Jody Lain and husband, Brian, and Jill Lawrence and husband, Tom; stepson, Tom Gittins; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, at the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls. Burial will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
