Randy E. Turnacliff, 39, passed away on March 14, 2007, in Minneapolis. He was born May 19, 1967, in Kalispell, to Ron and Lorraine Turnacliff. He was raised in Swan Lake, and graduated from Bigfork High School in 1985.

Randy graduated from St. Paul Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in ministry in 1989.

He married his beautiful wife, Jana Cerny Aug. 10, 1991. They shared their lives in Minneapolis and Tampa, Fla. Together, they graduated from Normandale Community College, 1997, with an A.D. in nursing.

In 2005, Randy completed his master's degree in nursing anesthesia. He loved taking care of children and had an amazing ability to connect with them. He scooped them up in his arms, brought them to the operating room and protected them in surgery.

Randy and Jana celebrated their son Jackson's birth on June 11, 2006. He was Randy's delight. Jackson loved rubbing his daddy's head. Randy also enjoyed getting dirty in the yard, working out, playing the piano, eating chocolate, and playing with his two Newfoundland dogs, Wilbur and Casey. Cooking was an adventure for him and he loved comfort food.

Every birthday he wished for a horse of his own.

He is survived by his wife, Jana; son, Jackson; parents, Ron and Lorraine; a sister, Sue, and David, Beach; nephews, nieces, and many loving family members and friends, who miss him.

Services were held March 19 in Minneapolis.
