He told Flathead County Sheriff's deputies that someone he didn't know gave him a ride somewhere, maybe to Harmony Road. There the stranger handed him a soda; the next thing he knew, he was waking up 14 hours later. He couldn't move, he was missing $850, a gold band and a phone card, and a friend reportedly found track marks on his arm.

Deputies responded to at least nine domestic disturbances in a 24-hour period. Two resulted in arrests: one in Somers for partner/family member assault and one on Flathead Drive for simple assault.

Burglary was reported at Glacier Mountain Shadow Resort. A man said someone broke into his tent and stole his cell phone and charger, compass, binoculars and a bag.

A woman was arrested for shoplifting at ShopKo.

A driver did about $2,000 worth of damage after taking out five sections of a chain-link fence and spinning brodies on the lawn at Stillwater Christian School.

A motorcycle was stolen out of a locked storage shed on East Evergreen Drive.

A Lake County Sheriff's deputy pursued a car after it nearly struck him at the intersection of Montana 209 and Montana 35. By the time he reached the vehicle, its four occupants had fled.

Later, Flathead County Sheriff's deputies received a report of trespassers on Flathead Lake Lodge Road, approximately 1/4 of a mile from the abandoned car. The trespassers were identified as the people who'd run from the Lake County deputy. A 20-year-old man was arrested for eluding an officer and criminal trespass.
