Flathead County sheriff's deputies arrested a 16-year-old girl in connection with partner or family member assault after she reportedly assaulted her parents at a Mallard Loop home.

Shots were fired then a vehicle sped away along Rhodes Draw early Tuesday evening. The caller suspected those in the vehicle were shooting at deer.

A red car, a green sweatshirt and a male who took off walking were the elements of a disturbance reported on Smith Lake Road.

Mailboxes were damaged, apparently by gunshots, on Mountain Meadow Road.

Disorderly conduct was reported at Bigfork High School.

A cat stranded 30 yards up a scree slope on Mooring Meadow Road eventually was rescued and handed over to animal control.

Somebody reported stolen money orders. Another person got off an airplane and discovered that her wallet was missing.
