Whitefish

Whitefish police are investigating a domestic disturbance at a home on Minnesota Avenue reported just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday. A man reportedly beat up his girlfriend, then ran off. She was gone, too, when police arrived, but they later found her. The man was not located.

Traffic on Montana 40 was backed up for some distance at about 4:30 p.m. Monday after a two-vehicle accident near the entrance to the Monterra housing development.

A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle outside Flanagan's early Monday.
