Columbia Falls police arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of DUI and endangering the welfare of a child when they stopped him at Meadow Lake Boulevard and Best Way at 9 p.m., with a child in the vehicle.

A boy attended an auction Tuesday at Ruder Elementary, then came outside after 6 p.m. to find that someone had taken his bicycle.

Somebody broke out a window in the second-floor apartment of the abandoned Duvall store.

Young children were caught stealing whatever they could lay their hands on in a neighbor's yard on 12th Avenue West. They had to haul their loot back over the fence to its rightful owner.
