The Kalispell Lakers won their third straight American Legion baseball game on Sunday, downing Belgrade 12-2 and 8-1 at Griffin Field.

"Overall, the kids did a great job offensively at the plate," said Lakers coach Ryan Malmin.

"Again, they had quality at bats."

Tyler Reichhoff went 2-for-2 in the first game and finished with three RBIs. He doubled in two runners in the third inning.

Jacob Scott went 3-for-3 for the Lakers in the second game. He doubled once.

John White had two doubles in three plate appearances and two RBIs. He was also the winning pitcher in the second game.

"Greg Neils (pitched the first game) and John White both had very good outings," Malmin said.

"They kept the ball around the plate and made hitters put the ball in play for us."

Kalispell, 5-2, plays at Libby on Tuesday.
