Bars and stripes forever for pair

| May 9, 2007 1:00 AM

Columbia Falls police offered temporary accommodations to two friends Tuesday, although they stayed in different jail cells. The first came into custody after a 1:30 a.m. traffic stop on U.S. 2 in front of the Town Pump, where a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The second arrived shortly after 1 p.m., when a 19-year-old woman came to bail him out and police discovered she was wanted on a traffic warrant out of Lake County.
