Gary Marko, 42

Gary Marko, 42, passed away at his home in Covington, Wash., on May 9, 2007, after an intense battle with cancer. He was born July 25, 1964, in St. Charles, Mo.

Gary Marko and Amy Lindlief were married in Kalispell on Aug. 1, 1998.

He is survived by his wife and best friend, Amy, and his daughters, Madison, Morgan, and Megan; his mother, Pauline Marko, of St. Charles; and brother, Marty; Amy's grandmother, Gladys Ellenburg, parents, Art and Sandy Lindlief, and Amy's sisters, Pennijo Tompkins and Kelly Siblerud, brother, Lance Lindlief, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold.

Those of us who knew and loved Gary always will remember his passion for life, and love for his family and friends, riding his motorcycle, and golf.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. today, May 16, at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery, with a reception afterward.

The Marko family would like to thank all those who have offered their loving support during Gary's long illness.
