Libby resident stabbed

A 20-year-old man was jailed in Lincoln County after an early-morning stabbing Saturday.

Kyle Nick was jailed on felony charges of assault with a weapon and aggravated assault in connection with an attack on a 24-year-old Libby man. Lincoln County officials did not give a hometown for Nick.

The Western News in Libby reported that the victim was stabbed in the head with a Phillips screwdriver.

Lincoln County Sheriff Daryl Anderson reported Tuesday afternoon that the victim is in critical but stable condition at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
