Get to Domino's. It's a burglar.

When Kalispell police officers did that at 1 a.m. Wednesday, they said they Tased Jeremiah "Jeremy" Stankiewicz, 25, out of his hiding spot in the ceiling at the East Idaho pizza joint, and delivered him into custody.

It all started with a couple of alert Kalispell residents, detective Sgt. Brian Fulford said, who were crucial to Stankiewicz getting his slice of justice.

The two were parked across the street waiting for a friend to get off work when they noticed a male wearing a black hoody park his car and walk a block to Domino's Pizza. When the suspect reached the business, the callers said they watched him use rocks to break out windows and enter - apparently looking for the dough.

Police were unable to locate the person designated to respond when Domino's has an after-hours emergency, according to the police log.

Officers surrounded the building and entered to see if the suspected intruder remained inside. He did.

But what really topped it off was that Stankiewicz allegedly was discovered hiding above the ceiling panels.

Officers repeatedly ordered the suspect to come out or to show his hands. Stankiewicz refused to comply, Fulford said, so officers used an X26 Taser to temporarily disable him and bring him out of his hiding spot.

Stankiewicz was examined at Kalispell Regional Medical Center before being booked into the Flathead County Detention Center on a felony burglary charge.

This could be the cheesiest crime of his career, which reportedly includes allegations of theft and domestic abuse.

The Flathead County Attorney's Office is reviewing Stankiewicz's conditions of release from prior charges in Flathead County.
