Police have 'int-arresting' good time at party

It looked like they wanted to rock 'n' roll all night, until the cops went through the front door and they went out the back window. But when they fought the law, the law won. Kalispell police arrested six people early Saturday morning at a loud party at an apartment on First Avenue West. They arrested the 20-year-old male host for obstructing officers and possessing alcohol, a 20-year-old man for possessing drugs, and a 20-year-old man, two 19-year-old men and a 20-year-old woman for obstructing officers and possessing alcohol.

On Saturday afternoon, a wallet was reported stolen Friday from a vehicle at Kalispell Center Mall.

Police and family services people put a child in a safe home while investigating a child abuse charge Friday afternoon on Third Avenue West.

A theft was reported Saturday afternoon at Big Sky Family Medicine.

An assault was reported Saturday afternoon at Wells Fargo on U.S. 93.

Someone fired a pistol into the air on Fifth Avenue West Friday evening, and arriving police arrested a 37-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman on warrants.

A bicycle was stolen Friday evening on Second Avenue West.

Fireworks on Sixth Avenue West brought police who arrested a 17-year-old girl for possessing drugs and a 16-year-old boy for possessing alcohol.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at Alpine Friendship Inn Saturday evening.
