Flathead County Deputy Coroner Dave Leib was called to the Wal-Mart parking lot shortly after 4 p.m. Monday for a man at a car who was not responding to medical help. Evergreen Fire and Rescue also was on the scene.

Leib also was called to Kalispell Regional Medical Center's intensive care unit just before 2:30 p.m. for a 27-year-old man who died from injuries he received in a traffic accident Monday morning in Lincoln County.

A woman went to the hospital by ambulance, a man took the same trip in a deputy's vehicle, and a woman was arrested on two Kalispell city warrants after a fight at the Spinnaker Bar's parking lot in Lakeside early Sunday.

A 16-year-old girl reportedly was assaulted by her father Sunday morning on School Addition Road. On Sunday afternoon, a 16-year-old said her mother hit her on LaBrant Road by Bigfork; she was taken to a different home. And a 16-year-old boy on Somers Road was reported out of control after he twisted his dad's finger, fought with his dad's wife then ran out into a field near the Somers school.

A 15-year-old boy said a group of youths assaulted him Sunday afternoon outside Lakeside.

The county jail inmate with a black eye said another inmate hit him.
