Wade C. Walker, 53
Wade C. Walker, 53, passed peacefully Sunday, May 20, 2007, at his home in Kalispell after a six-month struggle with cancer. Comfort and care were given by his wife and family until the end. He was born Sept. 25, 1953, in Vernal, Utah, to Don C. and Anna Louise (Peterson) Walker.
He grew up and graduated in Glendive. He then moved to Kalispell with his family.
Wade served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia and was married to Ronda Remington shortly after returning home. They settled into the Flathead Valley as he built their home with the help of his father.
He began as an apprentice electrician and worked to build his own business, Walker Electric. He was a master electrician in the valley for 25 years. He loved his work and was well-respected by all who knew him.
Wade was a Scout Master for 17 years, helping many young men become Eagle Scouts. His influence and knowledge earned him the "Scout Master of the Year Award" in 1998.
He enjoyed the outdoors, working on cars and other random projects with his son and father.
He was a loving husband and a wonderful father of five children. He loved his family and he always put them first. He made his home a place of joy with his sense of humor and words of wisdom.
