Maureen 'Reenie' Berg, 57

Maureen "Reenie" Berg, 57, passed away of natural causes Sunday, May 27, 2007, in Columbia Falls. She was born in Kalispell on May 14, 1950.

In 1968, she graduated from Great Falls Central Catholic High School. In 1972, she graduated from Montana State University School of Nursing.

She worked in nursing until 1992. In recent years, she worked at Great Northern White Water Rafting Co., and Super 8 Motel in Columbia Falls.

Reenie married Gary Berg in 1972.

She is survived by her three children, Spike Berg and his wife, Cindy, and granddaughter, Sofia; Bosco and wife, Kelly Berg; and Katrine Berg; four sisters, Colleen, Sandy, Corky and Jody; two brothers, Mike and Pat; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mickey and Charlotte Kirkpatrick.

A vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at St. Richard's Parish in Columbia Falls. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 1, at St. Richard's Parish, with Father John Miller officiating.
