Lorna M. Wilson, 93

Lorna M. Wilson, 93, elementary school teacher and avid bridge player, died May 28, 2007, in Kalispell. She was born Lorna Marian Susan Stark on May 26, 1914, in Poplar. She graduated from Richey High School, Eastern Montana Normal School and the College of Great Falls.

She married Floyd D. Wilson in Billings, in 1935. They resided in Great Falls for 63 years.

Lorna taught fourth grade at Lewis and Clark Elementary for 22 years, participated in many bridge clubs, and served as an active member of the First Congregational Church. She also attended Northridge Lutheran Church in Kalispell, and Kalispell Chapter BN of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

Together with Floyd, she traveled with Friendship Force America.

Lorna moved to Kalispell in 1998, residing at Buffalo Hill Terrace and Edgewood Vista assisted living centers.

She was preceded in death by Floyd.

Lorna is survived by sister, Wanda, and Ivan Hale, of Beaverton, Ore.; four sons, Warren and Charleen Wilson of Richland, Wash., Stuart and Cathy Wilson of Kalispell, Scott and Jean Wilson of Amherst, N.Y., and Kirk and Monica Wilson of Alpharetta, Ga.; seven grandchildren, including Mark and Renell Wilson of Kalispell, Laurie Pace of Missoula, and Anne Marvin of Missoula; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Flowers are gratefully declined. No viewing or public services are planned. Cremation has taken place.

Memorials may he sent to the P.E.O. Sisterhood, First Congregational Church of Great Falls, or the Alzheimer Foundation of Kalispell.
