Clerk calls deputies about customer

A man allegedly asked a clerk at a convenience store on U.S. 2 some strange questions. He wanted to know if she wanted to buy some drugs and if she could open the safe. The clerk called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies, who are using surveillance tapes in an attempt to identify the suspicious customer.

Deputies gave a woman a ride home after she got into an argument on North Hilltop Road.

A man was flagging drivers down and asking for a ride near the intersection of Montana 35 and Montana 206.

A 58-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant for probation violations when officers visited her Sixth Avenue West residence.

A 500 gallon fuel tank was shot full of holes on North Fork Road.

A 20-year-old man, possibly suicidal, got into a fight with his parents near the Somers boat launch. He left on foot.

Deputies got a hold of a hunter lost near Patrick Creek. They told him to walk toward the road, where they picked him up.

A dog bit a young boy in the face on U.S. 2. The dog, described as a black lab, was taken to the animal shelter.

A cell phone was either lost or stolen on Parliament Drive.

An 11-year-old boy, who has a history of attacking his 12-year-old sister, was kicking his mother and refusing to do his chores on Blenn Street in Bigfork. Deputies counseled the boy.

A Hungry Horse woman asked deputies to remove an unwanted drunk person from her house. The person was gone when deputies arrived.

Neighborhood kids were spotted shooting a pellet gun at a Middle Road home.

A llama and a dog were fighting on Log Cabin Lane in Kila.

A man threatened to swim until he drowned at a Tally Lake campground. He didn't go through with his plan.
