A former renter threatened to be a Cemetery Road landlord's “worst nightmare.” Flathead County Sheriff's deputies are investigating.

Two trucks at the county gravel pit had windows broken. The damage exceeded $500.

Mailboxes were destroyed on Fourth Avenue West North in Columbia Falls.

Rims and tires were stolen from a 2008 Honda sitting at a U.S. 2 car dealership.

Windows were busted out on a U.S. 2 business that, ironically, sells windows.

Somebody attached a cable to the gates of a gravel pit in Coram and pulled them out of the ground.

A Smoke Ridge Circle resident paid $4,800 to have their driveway paved. The job was only halfway completed.

Tips were stolen from a coffee shop on Montana 35.

People hunting on Dower Draw were asked to leave private property. The hunters thought they had permission; turned out they got the go ahead from somebody other than the property's owner. Several "no trespassing" signs were also reportedly torn down.

A lock was broken off a barn on Conifer Lane in Bigfork. Nothing appeared to have been taken. The lock had already been replaced when deputies arrived.

Deputies got a tip the owner of a head shop on U.S. 2 was selling something other than tobacco accessories. Investigators were unable to find any illegal activity.

A man wanted to speak with deputies about getting kicked out of a bar on Montana 35.

A man found yelling into the woods and acting strange near the Old Steel Bridge was taken for a mental health evaluation.

A 24-year-old man was arrested for partner assault after allegedly beating up his girlfriend on Shadow Lane. The woman, who reported the incident, was washing dishes when deputies arrived and didn't want to speak with investigators. The man was arrested anyway.

A woman in Arizona allegedly called a Flathead County friend saying someone was holding a gun to her head. Her friend called the Flathead County Sheriff's Office, who in turn notified Arizona police. When Arizona officers arrived at the woman's house, she told them she didn't know what they were talking about.

Deputies responded to a car audio shop on East Idaho Street after a silent alarm was triggered. They found several milk crates stacked on top of each other and pry marks on a window, but no entry was made.

A 1969 Chevrolet Blazer reported stolen in Hungry Horse was later found.

A Patrick Creek Road woman wanted county road crews to ask her permission before they built a turn-around on what she thought was her property. So she stood in front of a grader until they did.
