Stalled getaway car trips trio

A man called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies after observing three men going through his Conrad Drive shop. The men tried to take off in a white sedan, but the car stalled. The men were last seen pushing the car northbound. Deputies were unable to locate the trio, who must have started the car eventually.

A concerned neighbor called deputies to report a case of possible elder abuse on West Valley Acres. A man and his girlfriend reportedly each had an elderly parent living with them, in addition to three children and 32 pets.

A pistol was stolen from a residence on First Avenue South in Hungry Horse.

A 16-year-old girl at a youth home on Panoramic Drive threatened to beat up the staff and run away if her grandmother didn't come and get her.

A woman with three young children lost control at an ice cream shop in Bigfork. She was taken to the hospital, possibly under the influence of drugs.

A 24-year-old woman, who had been drinking, borrowed her friend's car without permission. The car was recovered, and the owner decided not to press charges.

A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of partner assault on Ridgewood Terrace after allegedly choking and hitting his spouse in the face.
