Hill 4th at CFR

West Glacier cowboy Beau Hill finished fourth in bull riding at the 34th annual Canadian Finals Rodeo held Nov. 7-11 in Edmonton, Alberta.

Hill had an aggregate total of 333.5 and finished with 75 championship points. Nathan Roy of Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, was crowned the CFR bull riding champion with a 432.5 aggregate and 155 total points.

Hill was lone U.S. cowboy to place in bull riding.

Hill posted an 80 score in the fourth round, which tied him for third place and earned him $3,393.

Hill had an 86-point ride in the third round, which was good for fourth place and $2,262.

And in the opening performance, Hill's 86-point ride was good for second place, $6,786.

Earlier this month, Hill finished 19th at the World Finals of Professional Bull Riding in Las Vegas.

Hill, 28, will not be competing in the Rocky Mountain Extreme Bull Riding Challenge at Majestic Valley Arena this weekend. Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. today and Saturday.
