A 43-year-old Coram man died Saturday evening when his all-terrain vehicle rolled over and pinned him north of Columbia Falls.

Jeffery T. Musuta died of head and neck injuries as he was thrown and then pinned by the vehicle, said the Flathead County Sheriff?s Office and the Montana Highway Patrol.

Musuta was alone when he tried to turn at the intersection of the gravel Lake Drive and Bailey Drive at about 9:30 p.m., the patrol said.

A passer-by later found him. He was dead by the time that the Three Rivers Ambulance Service and an ALERT helicopter arrived, the sheriff?s office said.

The patrol and the Sheriff?s Office still are investigating the accident.
