Whitefish police spent its Saturday night dispersing outdoors alcohol-fueled crowds and picking bloody people up off the streets in the downtown.
Twice late Saturday evening, police broke up crowds in front of The Great Northern and Casey's bars.
Officers found a blood-covered 50-year-old man on the ground on Baker Avenue, and had the Whitefish Ambulance service check him out shortly before midnight.
At 1:26 a.m. Sunday, police and the ambulance checked out a man with a bleeding mouth outside of Casey's. Another man was arrested for spilling the blood.
At 1:54 a.m., police and the ambulance found a man with a bleeding head outside of The Bulldog, and took him to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. No arrests were made.
In less rowdy Whitefish news, a bear was sighted Saturday afternoon on West Lakeshore Drive.
