Leonard Lee Sauerbier, 71, of Kalispell, passed away Sunday Sept. 16, 2007, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, while visiting his childhood friend of 60 years, Ed Nowman. He had been fighting a long battle with health problems.

Lee is survived by his wife, Gloria, of 13 years; along with a son, Gregg, and a daughter, Dawn, both of Spokane; a daughter, Sherry, of Missoula; and a grandson, Michael of Spokane. He is also survived by nine stepchildren; 21 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He enjoyed raising pigeons as a hobby and enjoyed observing wild birds and wildlife. He also enjoyed fishing and taking long scenic drives. He also enjoyed spoiling his small dogs. His great sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Lee's family would like to thank all the long time customers of Valley Tree Service whose business and friendships are greatly appreciated.
