Deputies may cite man for the bird

Deputies will most likely cite a man with disorderly conduct for flipping the bird at officers. He was angry because deputies working a fatal accident wouldn't allow him past a roadblock on U.S. 2 and Reserve Drive.

A woman on Second Street West in Hungry Horse told Flathead County Sheriff's deputies that a man has been stalking her for 22 years.

Wheels and tires were stolen from a PT Cruiser in the lot of a car dealership on U.S. 2.

Two kids got into a fight in the hallway of Bigfork High School.

Vandals smeared grease all over county road equipment on Cemetery Road. Some was also pushed over.

A dump truck turning from Reserve Drive onto U.S. 2 lost a load of gravel.

Law enforcement checked out a "weird guy" hanging out across the street from a hotel on U.S. 2 near the west entrance of Glacier National Park.

A BB was shot into a building on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

An informational sign in the Forest Hill Village subdivision was painted over.

An inmate scratched an obscene word into the paint of his cell at the Flathead County Juvenile Detention Center.

A stolen vehicle was recovered, but some of the items inside when it was stolen were not.

A crane unloading debris from a barge at the Lakeside marina dropped some in the water. The Office of Emergency Services is investigating.

Shots were heard near Glacier Park International Airport. It was the Flathead County SWAT team on their nearby range.

A mailbox was shot near the intersection of Columbia Mountain and Hems Roads.

A bystander called deputies to report that a man was trying to drag a woman into a car at a grocery store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen. But the pair then hugged and walked into the store together. The report was unfounded.

A 22-year-old man was found dead on Tamarack Lane. There appears to be nothing suspicious about his death, but investigators are conducting an autopsy to be sure.
