Grace Jeanette Hathaway, 88

Grace Jeanette Hathaway, 88, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at the Brendan House in Kalispell. She was born Dec. 14, 1918, in Kalispell, to Harry and Nettie (Amez-Dvoz) Weldon.

Grace received her early education in the Kalispell area and graduated from Flathead County High School in 1935.

She married William 'Bill' Hathaway on Nov. 11, 1939, in Kalispell.

Grace worked as a bookkeeper in Kalispell for many years.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and gardening. Grace and Bill enjoyed traveling to Arizona in the winters.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Bob in 1959, and Jim in 1965.

She is now survived by her husband of 67 years, Bill Hathaway; and one daughter, Judy Hathaway.

The family also offers a special thanks to nieces, Trudy Ost and Jill Tonn; nephew, Rod Walter; and best friend of 50 years, Lorraine Wheeler.

Memorial services for Grace will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Glenn Burfeind officiating. A private urn burial will take place at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
