Kalispell police arrested a 19-year-old man for felony arson and obstructing justice when officers came across him trying to light construction materials on fire near a Main Street work site. He later claimed he had a broken leg, even after running on it for several blocks from officers.

A man punched another man in the face on Stratford Drive. He later claimed self-defense.

A woman chased a man's children home from school in her car.

A 19-year-old man was arrested for trespassing after deputies responded to a 911 hang up at a Meridian Road apartment complex. People there said everything was fine, until the apartment manager walked out and recognized the man, who he had permanently barred from the property.

A man was spotted driving down West Idaho Street with a baby in his lap.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a license or insurance, and failure to remain at the scene of an accident after getting into an minor wreck on Second Avenue East North.

Two women fighting at a bar on West Idaho Street were kicked out.

A woman found sleeping in her car near the intersection of 10th Avenue West and Center Street told officers she needed a little time away from a man she had just had an argument with.
