Kalispell police responded to Hawthorne Avenue where a man accidentally discharged his .30-06-caliber rifle in his apartment. The bullet went through his ceiling and into his neighbor's residence. No one was injured.

A College Avenue residence told police a man stole her barbecue grill.

A man, who had been drinking, screamed at his girlfriend and blocked the door when she tried to leave a Seventh Avenue West home. Officers told the man to leave for the night. The man returned about 35 minutes later, and officers repeated their warnings to leave for the night. Two hours after that, the man returned a third time but left before officers arrived.

A purse was stolen from an unlocked car on Fourth Avenue East.

Officers arrested a 17-year-old boy and two 18-year-old men for possession of alcohol at a motel off U.S. 93 while investigating reports of a drug deal in one of the rooms.

A Hawthorne Avenue man's ex-girlfriend was threatening to kill him. He wanted the matter on record so he could claim self-defense were anything to happen.

Binoculars were stolen from an unlocked car on Fifth Avenue East.

A Sixth Avenue East woman told officers her 15-year-old son ran away and may be going to Oregon.

A car stolen sometime over the weekend was found high-centered on a rock at the Old Steel Bridge.

An old truck was driving around the Pintail Court neighborhood, apparently without a destination. Officers stopped the vehicle, whose occupants told them they were out looking for a lost dog.
