Peter Louis Ithurbide, 61

Peter Louis Ithurbide, 61, passed away due to a massive heart attack Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell. He was born April 19, 1946, in Conrad, the son of Pier and Della (McVay) Ithurbide.

Pete moved to Kalispell in the early 1950s. He married Sandy LaFlex on Sept. 11, 1967.

Pete's interests and hobbies included, old cars, music, crafts, woodworking and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandkids. Pete was retired auto body painter/tech.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Ithurbide, of Kalispell; his son, Peter Ithurbide, also of Kalispell; two daughters, Daphne Hamilton of Kalispell, and Teresa Ithurbide of Eureka, and their families, including several grandchildren; and two sisters, Carol Burton of Spokane, and Clara Welsh of Oregon.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery, with Pastor Noe Gomez officiating. There will be no visitation.
