Loetta Margaret (Klug) Bare, 79, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, in Kalispell. She was born Feb. 19, 1928, in Norfolk, Neb., to Emma (Rehrner) Kiug and Herman Klug.

She attended a Lutheran church grade school in Norfolk and then graduated from Norfolk public high school. She was two years behind the famed Johnny Carson, who at that time was already up on the auditorium stage performing magic tricks for his fellow students.

Loetta met Lyle Bare at Kings Park Ballroom in Norfolk. Kings had a very large wonderful wooden dance floor where Loetta demonstrated that she was one of best ballroom dancers in the state of Nebraska. Lyle thought she was the best.

Lyle and Loetta were married in Gardena, Calif., a suburb of Los Angeles, on Dec. 19, 1952. Loetta spent nearly 55 years spoiling that husband of hers. Loetta had an older brother, Gilbert Klug; an older sister, Vera Schuster; and one younger sister, Delta Lesser, who she, to her surprise, outlived them all.

Loetta had the joy of raising a lovely daughter, Janet Lee. Janet married Charles Tucker on Sept. 9, 1978. Sunday will be their 29th anniversary. Charles and Janet Tucker have four children, Brianna, 20, Krista, 18, Benjamin, 15 and Joshua, 12. Loetta dearly loved being part of their lives as they grew and developed.

Loetta called herself a 'nester.' She really did not like to travel, but she saw a lot of country due to her CPA husband's many moves to advanced jobs: California, Oregon, Hawaii, back to California, Washington, and Montana, with several towns in some of the states.

Loetta's hobby was outdoor flower gardening. She had that green thumb gift for doing the right thing at the right time.

'We rejoice that Loetta is dancing in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.'

This lovely lady will be missed by all who had a chance to know her.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 2200 Hwy. 2 East, Kalispell, MT.

Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.
