Deputies respond to alleged assault

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to an assault on Whalebone Drive. Two women and a man, who had been drinking, got into an argument and the man punched one of the women in the nose. Deputies are looking for the man, who fled before deputies arrived.

A woman got upset about the price she was paying for an oil change in Evergreen and threatened not to pay. Deputies arrived, and she paid.

A 1-year-old child needed a stitch in his lip after being bitten by a dog.

A stalker was reported at the Bigfork post office.

A man on Shelter View Court received an e-mail demanding the return of a pound of cocaine. He reported it to deputies so no one would come after him thinking he had a pound of cocaine.

A bow and arrows were stolen from a Shadow Lane residence.

A car reported stolen from Shady Lane was found.

Two kids were cited for stealing candy from a grocery store in Evergreen.

A man refused to leave his girlfriend's house on Conrad Drive. He is also accused of shooting her with a paintball gun.

A group of kids was knocking on doors along U.S. 2 in Coram and then running away.

A pair of 10- to 11-year-old boys were spotted outside a Whitefish gas station at 4:00 in the morning. They took off on their bikes before deputies arrived.

A man was reported looking in people's windows on Bridger Drive in Bigfork.

A stuffed elk head was stolen from a garage on Hodgson Road.

Bicycles were stolen from Third Street East in Whitefish.

A power washer was stolen from in front of an auto parts store on Montana 35 in Bigfork.
