A golfer at the Village Green Golf Course hit a ball that landed near a group of other golfers early Saturday evening. One man in that group grabbed the golfer around the neck and pulled him off a golf cart, earning him a ticket from the Flathead County Sheriff's Office. It's unknown whether penalty strokes were assessed.

A bear was sighted Saturday evening in a pen with a horse in Martin City. The bear left. The horse stayed.
