Two boys, who were riding their bicycles in traffic near the intersection of Second Street West and South Main Street, got chewed out by police and one of the boy's mothers after yelling obscenities at a passing motorist.

Two people who had been sleeping under a camper on Eighth Avenue West were checked out by police. One had a Kalispell warrant, but he wasn't arrested because the jail was at maximum capacity.

Officers counseled a man painting addresses on curbs on Empire Loop and then rudely demanding money from homeowners.

Four girls took a baseball bat and a pit bull with them to ask another woman for the return of a stereo system her ex-boyfriend installed.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested for shoplifting from an electronics store on U.S. 93 North.

Junk was thrown at a passing truck on East Idaho Street.

A woman on Sixth Avenue West heard tapping on her window and called police. They were unable to find anything suspicious.
